A Chance Ride

It started quite simply. She was rushing somewhere and was close to being late for class, so I decided to hitch her. When I reach her place on time, she was late. Then she apologies repeatedly and was also friendly.

After that, we kept texting about our day. Then I fetched her again another time, and somehow the conversations began to flow naturally. It felt right and the more I spoke to her, the more I realised how easy she was to talk to. There was no awkwardness, no need to force the conversation. It just felt comfortable.

She looked tall, carried herself well, and seems to be good in front of a camera in her photos.

Then a thought came to my mind. I wonder whether I should ask her if she would be open to being the model for my website’s hero image. I was searching for a suitable model for close to 3 weeks now.

Perhaps ideas do not come from long planning. Sometimes they come from ordinary moments, from a simple ride, an easy conversation, and timing that feels unexpectedly right.
